This is the largest ever survey in India with over 250,000 respondents in 525 constituencies of the Lok Sabha. It is perhaps the largest survey ever done in the world in one country. The purpose of the survey is not to predict the poll outcome.

Analysis of income, expenditure and donations of National Parties - FY 2012-13

Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) analysed the IT returns and donations reports of the 6 National Parties submitted for the Financial Year 2012-13. Political parties are required to submit details of donations received above Rs 20,000 from all over India, to the Election Commission, annually. Parties provide details of the name, address, PAN, mode of payment and amount contributed by each donor who has made donation above Rs 20,000.


Analysis of Criminal Cases Declared by the newly-elected Lok Sabha MPs in view of the Supreme Court order dated 10th of March, 2014

The Association for Democratic Reforms and National Election Watch have analysed the affidavits of 541 newly-elected Members of Parliament out of which 53 have declared criminal cases (where charges have been framed) under Section 8(1) and/or 8(3) of the RP Act. These MPs will face disqualification whereby the seat would be declared vacant if convicted.


Analysis of Comparison of Declared Criminal Cases and Financial Details of Re-elected MPs in Lok Sabha 2014 elections

National Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) have analysed the self-sworn affidavits of 165 re-elected MPs out of a total of 168 Members of Parliament who have been re-elected in the Lok Sabha 2014 elections. The rest of the MPs were not analysed due to unclear/incomplete affidavits uploaded on the ECI website at the time of making of this report.


Lok Sabha 2014 - Vote Share and Representativeness Report

Association for Democratic Reforms and National Election Watch have analysed the percentage of votes won by the newly elected MPs of Lok Sabha elections, 2014 and their representativeness among the total number of registered voters. The data disclosed by the Election Commission of India on their website (http://eci.nic.in/eci_main1/index.aspx) has been used for this report.
